| SOLUTION: |
| Yes, the sides of the building that receive less direct sunlight are more prone to staining from mold and mildew.
These areas stay damp longer which allows for the growth of the spores. Our recommendation is to use PROSOCO Bio Klean. The product is applied to a dry wall. The wall wicks up the material and kills the mold spore. BioKlean is a two part product. Each kit contains cleaner powder, an activator and a neutralizer. Please do small test area before treating the entire wall. Always follow the manufacturers recommendations. To minimize future staining, apply Weather Seal Natural Stone Treatment by PROSOCO. Coverage rates vary, consult manufacturer recommendations. The use of a pressure rinse is extremely important when cleaning porous material such as limestone. Use a 40 degree fan tip nozzle and always test wall to see how much pressure it will stand. Usually 1000 lbs. pressure is adequate. |
